3	15th – 20th September Holiday Monday, Sept. 15th	To recognize and express actions and situations in an oral and written way by using the present perfect continuous.	Present perfect continuous. Present perfect vs. Present perfect continuous.
4	22nd – 27th September	To describe people, places and things in an oral and written way using adverbs and adjectives.	Adjectives and adverbs, position and order of adjectives.	Short Test No. 1: 10% Weeks 1 to 3.
5	29th – 4th Sept. / October	To make descriptions in an oral and written way using adverbials.	Adverbials of manner, time, frequency, duration, and degree.
6	6th – 11th October	To learn and use the rules to express comparisons in an oral and written way.	Comparatives and superlatives of adverbs and adjectives.
7	13th – 18th October	MIDTERM TEST (35%) Weeks 1 to 6
8	20th – 25th October	To express ideas, feelings, doubts, and simple reasoning using gerunds in an oral and written way.	Gerunds:  Uses of gerunds, gerunds after prepositions, common verbs often followed by gerunds, go+ gerund, special expressions followed by gerunds.
9	27th – 1st Oct. / November	To express ideas, feelings, doubts, and simple reasoning using infinitives in an oral and written way.	Infinitives:  Uses of infinitives, common verbs often followed by infinitives, infinitives of purpose, infinitives versus gerunds.
10	3rd – 8th November	To express ideas, feelings, doubts, and simple reasoning using infinitives and gerunds in an oral and written way	General Practice for gerunds and infinitives
11	10th – 15th November	To recognize and express ideas through the correct use of subject-verb agreement and pronoun antecedent.	Subject – Verb agreement. Pronoun antecedent agreement.	Short Test No. 2: 10% Weeks 8 and 9.
12	17th – 22nd November	To express doubts and confirm information about everyday situations using tag questions.	Tag questions.

   1)        This weekly plan is subject to change. Changes would be notified in advance.

   2)        According to existing academic and disciplinary regulations:

a.     Arriving to a test later than 30 minutes will prevent the student from taking it.

b.    Missed evaluation will not be rescheduled unless medical condition is proven within time (five working days).

c.     The use of cell phones and/or any other electronic devices is prohibited inside the classroom.

4) Exercises not worked in class will be considered extra-personal-practice, which means that the student should work on them at home and bring to class only specific doubts for explanation. These extra-practices will not necessarily be fully checked in class time.
